Ibotta rebates - UPDATE

I've been using Ibotta for a month - already earned $16.00 cash. These aren't points, it's cash that I can move directly into my Paypal account. And I didn't buy anything that I wouldn't have already - I just took the time to input the information into the app.

Ibotta is an app that offers rebates for buying certain products at a specific retailer.
For instance: if I shop at Fred Meyer, I can earn a $0.25 rebate for buying milk, which I would buy anyway. Most of the rebates are brand specific. You can also earn rebates for online shopping (caution! Often this is ONLY if you link to the retailer from the Ibotta link) or for going to the movies. I earned $1.00 last week for going to "Mockingjay".
The downside with this app is it's a little labor intensive. You have to unlock the rebate, then scan the barcodes, then photo your receipts. I don't mind, but I can see how this would deter some people.

Shell Fuel Rewards

Fuel Rewards is a loyalty program. Once signed up, you link debit/credit cards through the program that award you points for purchases - groceries, dining out, online shopping, etc. There are some additional offers available for linking a Mastercard (which was my KeyBank debit card....see posting below on getting $100 for opening a KeyBank account). As your points add up, your fuel rewards increase at Shell stations, which equals money off at the pump.

You can also link your grocery rewards for some retailers which allows you to double dip points.

EBATES! Super easy, cash quarterly

Ebates was the beginning of my online rebate experience. I LOVE to online shop, and this is the easiest way to get cash back! Once you create an ebates account, all you have to do is link your online shopping through their website, Some retailers have cash rebates as much as 10% back, and there are also specials regularly.

I even link my travel purchases (car rentals, hotel stays) through them for participating vendors, and those big purchases add up fast in the form of cash back.

Every quarter they send you a paper check or deposit the funds right into your Paypal account! EASY!

Visit the Ebates website!

Groupon + SendEarnings = BIG SAVINGS!

Most people already use Groupon to get great deals locally. You can increase those deals by purchasing your Groupon through the SendEarnings website. For every item you purchase, you will get a 5% rebate to your SendEarnings account, which pays you in CASH once your balance reaches $30.00.

SendEarnings will also link you to other deals, offers, and surveys you can take for cash.

Get $100 from Key Bank

KeyBank offers $50 to existing account members who refer a friend. The friend (YOU) gets $100 after they make $1000 of qualifying deposits!

The refer a friend invite must come from an existing account member. If you are interested, email me and I will send you a link!

Bing Rewards

Bing is a search engine similar to Google. They have created a rewards program where you can earn points simply for searching through Bing!

If you don't have a Microsoft account, you will need to create one, which only takes a few minutes. Then you can sign up to receive points just for using Bing. Points can be redeemed for gift cards to various places, like Amazon and Starbucks,

DirecTV referral - $100 bill credit

Lots of places will give you credits for referring customers,

DirecTV will give you $100 in bill credit for you and every friend you refer. IN fact, here's mine:

Call 1-877-581-5992 to start service, give them my account number 015792605 and we both get $100 off our monthly bills, spaced out as $10 monthly for 10 months.

Bundle your services

I called Centurylink today for something completely non-related, and after being on hold for a zillion years and first talking to someone I could barely understand, I was finally transferred to a very helpful young man who asked me about bundling services. I was annoyed after holding so long and wanted to brush him off - glad I didn't,

Little did I know that I could bundle my services I already had into one bill. These being: Centurylink, DirecTV, and Verizon wireless. By allowing Centurylink to bundle the accounts I save $5 from DirecTV and $10 from Verizon. $15 bucks a month. The services all bill Centurylink, who pays them, and then I just make one monthly payment for all! Timesaver, too.

Check your providers and services and see who you can bundle!
